After five months of primping and editing, my new folk horror novel Green Pines is now available on Amazon in both ebook and print book form.

After the sudden death of his parents, twenty year old Gavin Hark is struggling with unemployment and desperately trying to get his seven year old sister, Rosie,out of her abusive foster home. So when he receives a mysterious job offer for a groundskeeper position at Green Pines campground, he is eager to take it.As soon Gavin arrives at the campgrounds with Rosie in tow, a series of strange occurrences cause him to question his sanity and put both his and Rosie’s lives in jeopardy.

With the help of his colorful cast of coworkers and his quirky conspiracy theorist best friend, Gavin embarks on an investigation of the strange happenings at Green Pines Campground that he may not return from alive.

What inspired me to write Green Pines was actually the Disney cartoon Gravity Falls. I loved the intense lore and mystery element of the show. I was also inspired by the wide range of quirky characters in the show. I think they add a lot of fun to the more serious horror elements. I thought it would be really cool if there was a more adult version of that.
